How to setting Date to "DD-MMM-YY"
eg. 31-AUG-02

Please advice

This can be set by doing a couple of things:
SET CENTURY OFF
SET DATE SHORT
SET DATE MDY

But you have to go in the control panel (Regional settings) and check the Short Date style, and adjust it to show DD-MMM-YY

One last thing, once you reset the date in the Regional Settings, it does require a re-boot to take effect.
