How to set When a call goes on hold,anyone should be able to pick up the line.

Dear friends,
Here is a KX-TDA50 and here is what the client needes.My request i a guide on how to set it up.I have no physical access to the machine,it's in another country and am carrying out programming remotely through the IP Network.

Desired configuration.

When a call goes on hold,anyone should be able to pick up the line.
Also anyone should be able to join one of the four outgoing lines for conference calls

Will be grateful for guidance.

if all phones have the 4 lines on buttons co001 etc then a held call can be picked up unless pressing hold twice puts it on exclusive hold for that line.

someone may have changed that pressing once is exclusive hold and twice is standard hold.

As for conference calls, you have to use conf key to setup conference calls and not use hold at all
