How to set up virtual server on IIS5.0?

Hi,

There isn't a "new website options" under the Internet Service Manager. So how do we create a virtual host in the IIS 5.0?

right click on the computer machine name...it's icon of a computer and next to it is a computer name...then find New and then go to Virtual web site.

I don't know what a "virtual host" would be, but to have more than one Web site - you must be running IIS on a server. I assume you are on 2000, as IIS started to be 5.0 on 2000.
Make sure the

http://www service

is installed from "Add/Remove Programs" then add a new web site as described by Med above.

If there are no web sites listed in your IIS, then install

http://www -

If there is no option to add another web site, then you are not running a Server OS.

Once all set up, check some of the other posts in this forum for getting each web site pointing to where you want.
