I would like to connect to a public IP XP machine behind a firewall remotely and use it as a SSL Proxy.
IE I put the computers IP into the proxy field of my browser, and use the off subnet PC to browse the web, FTP etc.
I have installed a few proxy programs but they only provide proxy for local subnet IP's (ala connection sharing) and not through the firewall. It works as a proxy inside my local network but not across the internet through the firewall.
I have the proper ports open and I can reach the computer through a ping but I can't use it as a proxy.
Is there a program or method for using your home computer as a secure proxy when you aren't at home?
