We are trying MailEnable but it seems the standard edition cannot retrieve POP3 Mail directly.
I think it says that you have to set up a local DNS Server to do this?
my questions are
Is this a simple procedure, or not worth the effort.
If it is relatively easy to do. How?
Used to use the mail server in Winroute 4.2 distribute mail.
to clients running Outlook Express this now has done everything we need, I couldn't get winroute to run on a new machine running WinXP. So this has been replaced by a Modem/Router, Just need a mail server!
Network is up to 7 computers on a windows workgroup.
