I am using XP Professional, and my web application is on a Win 2K machine. Eventually, I want to set up a project on my XP machine that checks files in and out of source safe on the 2000 machine. So basically, I believe all debugging will be done locally on my XP machine, and I'll just be checking files in and out of the 2000 machine.
I have the web project saved locally on my machine, and would simply like to be able to debug it locally. However, when I try to run the program with debugging, I get the message:
"Unable to set server into correct debugging state automatically. You may not be able to debug ASP pages. Do you want to continue launching the debugger?"
I can click "Yes", but it just runs without stopping at any breakpoints, so it's not debugging. Any clue how to get the debugger to work? I am using IIS version 5.1, and I believe the Win 2000 machine that I will eventually be connecting to is on IIS 5.0. Any help would be great!!
