Hi everyone,
I have bcm50 rls 6.0, wondering how to set it up for remote work.
Thanks

You need to have enough IP client licenses which is up to 32 for a BCM 50.
It needs to be release 6.0 that you already have

You need to have code 297 enabled as shown below.

<feature>
<code>297</code>
<data>1</data>
<name>NAT Traversal / Remote Working</name>
<comp></comp>
<expiry></expiry>
</feature>

Your router needs to have ports opened up such as some of the ones shown below. The main one is ports 7000 to 7002.

Game or Service Protocol Port Range Translate To
BCM 50 RTP over UDP UDP 30000 - 30099 30000 - 30099
BCM Element Manager access TCP 5989 - 5989 5989 - 5989
BCM IP Phone Signalling UDP 7000 - 7002 7000 - 7002
BCM Monitor access TCP 60001 - 60001 60001 - 60001
BCM RTP Ports UDP 28000 - 28255 28000 - 28255
BCM Voice RTP Ports UDP 51000 - 51010 51000 - 51010

and

On the BCM:

Telephony Resources/IP Sets
-Enable "Registration"
-Check the box "Remote Worker"

IP Subsystem
-Modify the "Provisioned Public Address" by entering the routers public IP

On the Sets "Network Configuration":
-Check DHCP if so or if Static then enter the internal IP address
-under S1 enter the sites public IP address
-under S2 you could enter another sites IP address as a backup should the one site go down.
