Very new to Exchange need to set up a pop3 address so that users can access their mail through a dial up account and then through their mail program. More than anything i need pointing in the right direction.
You mean you want to forward a users mail automatically out of exchange to a dial up account which they then access irrespective of Exchange?

Do you know the name of your mail server? If not, go to the server, get the IP address of your mail server, and at a command prompt and type "tracert 192.x.x.x" (whatever your IP address is for the mail server...if you don't know your IP address, Run "ipconfig").

Tracert should finally return a name to you like "mail.zzz.com". That's your pop3 server name. Configure your mail clients to access that box....
