Can anyone advise on how to set up a LCR table please. BT want us to subscribe to a premium Help Line to get this advice and I'm buggered if we want to pay it.

What I would like to do is -

If the number dialled starts 00 39, then dial a prefix number.

If the number dialled starts 00 34, then dial a prefix number.

We have a BCM 50. I have tried the supplied help files on the BCM but cannot find anything.

Any help much appreciated.

in a nut shell
first set up routes with your dialouts and which pool it will use

then your dest codes points to said routes

allow sets access to assigned pools

basically you are manipulating the digits based on the dest code

so
route 001 dials out 5551212
dest code 0039 points to rout 001

Routes
Show route:001
DialOut 5551212
Use: PoolA-Q or
PRI-A, PRI-B
(If PRI-A or PRI-B)
SrvcType: Public
(If service type is Tie, FX, OUTWATS, requires service id)
Service id:
<valid service id #> None
(If Protocol is SL-1 or Tie service type)
DN type: Public
Dest codes
Show DstCode:
DstCode: 0039_
Normal 001
Digit absorb All ****this strips out 0039****
****route inserts 5551212***
**also if you need to dial 9 then dest code would look like 90039 and in routing you assigned the poool so there is no access code needed**

Thanks for the reply, but unfortunatly I am an end user so most of it is gobbledygook.

Can anyone explain in laymans terms ?

Do you have the documentation?

SHK Certified (School of Hard Knocks)

Yes, tonnes of it, but I cannot find anything

Some things are more complex then others.

This is tech side of programming in which you may not have access too.

I suggest you call a vendor and have a tech come out to do this for you, and train you if need.

This forum is for assisting with issues....not training users how to be a tech.

The information your require is in the Installation Guide and not the admin or user guides.

You could search these forums on Routes and also the BCM forum might be helpfull?

Cheers
CC
