how to set trace flag from command prompt?

Hi all,

How can i set the trace like
sqlservr -d"C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Data\master.mdf" -T3111
what is the step!!!

Doesn't that work?

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.
Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy.
 
but not sure where to start from should i start from command prompt or what? please give me steps thanks!!
