I have a MS excell file that requires a password to open the file. Need to know how to remove and reset that feature.
The file won't open without typing the password first!
Help!!

I take it you know the password.

Once you have opened the file, if you go to File, Save As, under Tools, General Options, you would get password to open and password to modify. You need to remove the password and save the file.

(This is for Office 2000; if you have Office 97, this would be located in the drop down beside the Save button)
