I have created a label report in Crystal Reports 8.5. I need to publish this report to the web. I am using CE 8, and viewing the report thru ePortfolio using the ActiveX viewer.

When I preview my report, the labels display on an 8.5 x 11 page. E.G. If I passed parameters that will select 13 labels, 9 labels display the first page and 4 on the second page. If I send this print job to my label printer, it prints the 1st label on each page only.

Does anyone know how I can force the proper paper size (4 x 1)? In CR 8.5, it previews & prints properly, one label at a time.

Thanks in advance!

I found the workaround myself!

I changed the paper size in the report design from a 4 x 1 label (each label being a sheet of paper) to a #9 envelope (which was 4 x 8, I think?). Since I'm using a continuous roll of labels, the length did not matter to me, just the width. The ActiveX viewer was able to display & print this properly. I had to do a lot of tweaking to get the spacing between labels right, but this works great.

Hope this helps another poor label printing soul...
