I have been trying to start the gstd daemon to access the Networker Management console and it stops with the following error message:
02/21/06 15:27:13 gstd: Internal error: could not get database handle.
02/21/06 15:27:13 gstd: The most recently called subfunction returned error 2.
02/21/06 15:27:13 gstd: Internal error: could not release database handle.
02/21/06 15:27:18 gstd: library error 22 os error 0
According to Legato case legato84398:
Change ntp on the gst server to be service-based, that is, ntp is running all the time.
The xntpd deamon is running on the NMC server. What does it mean to " run all the time"? Does it mean that the daemon should be runnig at all times? Or that there is a special setting in th .conf file?
