We are going to use Windows NT authentication for all users in CE9. We are planning on cutting over from Seagate Info in 2 weeks. My only problem is when a user initially logs into ePortfolio (only the first time) the default for the authentication is Enterprise. Since we are using Windows NT authentication they will not have to enter their username and password BUT they will have to change the authentication (JUST THE FIRST TIME) to Windows NT. I understand that after the first time it will stick to Windows NT for that user.

I'm sure that by modifying the logonform.csp or the logon.csp I can get the default the first time to be Windows NT authentication. I am not a web developer and it is not real obvious to me by looking at these csp pages how to make the default on initial logon to be Windows NT. THe only reason I want to do this is to avoid every user calling me when they log into CE9 the first time (even though I tell them otherwise) telling me that they are getting a login error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

LogonForm.csp reads the value of the cookie written in logon.csp the first time the page is run per user. This is why subsequent calls displays NT Authentication.

lastaut = GetCookie("ePortfolio_lastaut");

You should be able to test for the existance of the cookie
and set lastaut to the value for NT Authentication.
