In the Callserver you can set a test alarm (eg: LD 117 test alarm ini 000). Does anyone know how to set a test alarm in a Sigserver so that the Sigserver sends a SNMP trap to our managementdevice.

Thnx, Chris

This is in the expert guide:

3.89 itgAlarmTest alarm
Creates and sends a dummy SNMP alarm for one or more ITGnnnn alarms. The parameter alarm is set as follows:
alarm < 0 - send dummy SNMP alarm messages for all ITS alarms
0 <= alarm < 36- send a dummy SNMP alarm message for the specified alarm
Note the current maximum alarm value is 35, subject to change in the future.
IPL> itgAlarmTest 35
value = 0 = 0x0
