how to sent text format email

i have this html file which i wish to sent as a text article...is there any way i can display it in text format but without seeing the <table>,<tr>...ect & also excluding image?

Are u gonna send this thru email?
U can use <cfmail>
If u use cfmail u cannot see the <table><tr> and all that
Pls correct me if i m wrong
