I follow the steps in the whitepaper and the same message appears...
If it´s possible, i need the steps to follow.

Thanks

Luiz

I've had to configure it numerous times in the past, but not recently (SI is a few years old).

The problems generally stemmed from not getting the user profile correctin Outlook, or the logon account for SI differed.

How i see my profile in outlook?? If my login in seagate is lcarrossoni without password, i need to put this login in configuration manager? or my login in NT??
And i need to put my domain before my profile?? domain\login for example...

In outlook exchange Tools - Options - Mail Services i see the profile and i resolve the problem.
So the profile isn´t my logon...

Thanks

Luiz

Was this problem solved for you? I am having the same problem. It has been a few years since I set this up this first time.

I have tried to use the login administrator and my personal exchange login. They are returning the same error.

Yes this problem was solved, you dont need to put your personal exchange login, you need to put your profile name,
you can see this in mail configuration.
Normally you dont need to put a password too.

Chines,

OUtlook Express is on this machine. I think you are saying that I need to see what profile is configured in OutLook Express and that I can do this by looking in my control panel. Then making sure that it matches with the login that is confiured in the Info Configuration manager?

Is that right?

Thanks!

SSonier: We're speaking of MS Outlook, not Outlook Express.

Do you have a mail server? If so, what is it?

SSonnier,

You have to put the name of your profile in configuration manager.

the profile on exchange right? Yes, we have an exchnage server running. I should be able to put the profile name in the config manager. Am I missing something. I'm putting in usernames/passwords and nothing is working. Does the profile have to be set up via out look on that machine? Or just on the exchnage server?
