I'm sure this is a common scenario however after 2 night research i cannot beleive I have not found the answer to this easily.

Problem:
Many user member of group Info@domain.com

All users must be able to send emails as info@domain.com

When a user tries to do this the following error is received:

jjj@hotmail.com on 13/09/2006 2:02 AM
You do not have permission to send to this recipient. For assistance, contact your system administrator.
MSEXCH:MSExchangeIS:/DC=local/DC=mydomain:MYSERVER

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Under the Security tab for the group, the user would need to have Send As rights.

Not sure if this answer worked for you Petersb, but I have tried the same configuration and still I get the denial to send on behalf of the group.

That is transitively using a domain admin login the security is set and I get the same result.

Setting send as on my own account and adding the send as right also results in the same denial.

I would think that this is the right way to do it.
