How to send mail to external mail server other then my own

I am trying to send mail to an external mail server and getting the following message.

"The recipient name 'XXXXXX@yahoo.com' is unknown."

please note that if i am sending the same mail to my mail server it is working fine.

can anybody help me in solving the above issue.

How are you trying to send the mail? Through a script, from the Connection Directory, manually?

I used the code from aspectscripting.com to send mails.

Since it was working for only internal mails, then i tried to send manually.

In both cases i failed.

Were you using the script with the mapisend command, or the script that manually entered information into the Compose window of the mail client?

I have sometimes seen the error message you mention when sending email with Procomm, but if I resend the email (by selecting the Deliver Mail toolbar button) it often works the second time. I am not certain why Procomm is giving this error message.
