Hello ,

We have 3 exchange servers defined in /etc/hosts

128.251.70.1 test1.com
128.251.71.1 test2.com
128.251.72.1 test3.com

How do I have to configure sendmail.cf to make it possible to send a mail from AIX to these 3 mail servers.

Ex. mail ivo1@test1.com<tekstfile
mail mike@test2.com<tekstfile
mail henk@test3.com<tekstfile

???

cat testfile|mailx -s "Here's the file dudes!" iv01@test1.com mike@test2.com henk@test3.com

In etc/hosts I have 3 lines ( = 3 Exchange servers) :

128.251.70.1 test1.com
128.251.71.1 test2.com
128.251.72.1 test3.com

I have changed the defaults in file /etc/sendmail.cf as followed :

DStest1.com

When I want to send a mail to someone on test2.com
(ex. mail ivos@test2.com<tekstfile) , the mail is not sent and i receive following message in /usr/spool/mail/ :

RCPT to : <ivos@test2.com>
550 Relaying is prohibited
550 ivos@test2.com .... user unknown

Do I need to change or add something additional in /etc/sendmail.cf or somewhere else so that I can alse send mails to users on Exchange server test2.com ???
