How to send info to a database?! Or how to send it to another page?

I think that this is very simple...
I have a field where i insert an email ( test@page.com ).
When the user press OK this email will be sent to a database. How can i do this?
A friend told me that it's possible to send this email to another html page... How?
At the moment what i really whant is to have access to the email... any ideia?
