How to send fax with desktop messaging on XP

Can anyone let me know the process to send a fax from Desktop messaging working on XP. step by step. Or point me to a site to dnload the info.

We have upgraded all our PC's to XP !!! and upgraded desktop messaging from 1.07.10.11 to 1.07.16.24 to enable the faxes to work
