I want to send email from a form that uses ASP to my own mail account. Can anyone suggest a method of doing so that I wouldn't have to pay for?

You can use CDONTS but I would recommend ASPMailer instead. It is pretty cheap and it is one of those honor system things. If you want to just play with it and it is essentially free but if you are using it commercially then I suggest you register it.
They have sample code on the website for how to send an email using vbscript, very simple stuff.
