This might be a simple procedure but I can't work it out.
I run an Exchange Server 2003 for abc.com domain (for example). I have loads of users that are fine at sending and recieving emails as name@abc.com.
However the situation has arisen whereby I have a couple of users currently using the abc.com domain that need to send emails and recieve emails using a name@def.com address that is hosted on an Exchange 2000 server situated on a different domain (actually a different company within the same Group). We can easily get incoming emails forwarded on from the def.com Exchange server to the original abc.com accounts - but how do I configure these couple of users to send outgoing emails with a @def.com email address when they are situated within the abc.com Exchange server?
