Does anyone reading this know of a 3rd party software that will work with Exchange/Outlook?? or even by itself to send html auto replies? Our marketing department went to great length to design a beautiful HTML response to inquiries.. we set up the rules and saved the .oft. Then we were congratulating each other, for when we tested it (in-house), it worked like a charm...
But when we tested it by sending it to OUTSIDE email addresses, we could only receive it as a text message.. with the HTML code, and of course, no graphics! Then here on this forum, I read something that probably explained
it, in answer to someone else's question:

That sounds like normal behavior. Outlook won't send a custom form as a
reply. It just pulls the text from the message that you saved as an .oft
file. Since only Outlook users can receive custom forms, I think this is
pretty sensible behavior on Outlook's part.

There must be some way to send a lovely custom designed html as an auto response to generic 'interest' email.. something that lets the sender get an immediate response to an inquiry, complete with lovely photos and gives our
sales staff a chance to then evaluate the original request and deal with it as they can. Something that works, no matter what the email client that opens it.
I just hope someone can share what they know works for this.. we are pretty discouraged at this point!
