how to see which domain controller a user or pc is logged onto via the command prompt at the user's pc or at the domain controller? Thanks..

Err, which domain controller authenticated the user?

The %LOGONSERVER% variable should tell you which DC authenticated the user account at logon. Eg:

H:\>set logonserver
LOGONSERVER=\\ADSERVER01

[ponder][laughtears] The dumber they think you are, the more surprised they'll be when you kill them! [machinegun][rofl2]
