How to see the cubes thro our web server.

Hello:

I have developed the cubes in the Transformer and powerplay. I have installed the cognos powerplay enterprise server and configured it. I have installed the IIS on my machines and checked the cubes thro browser. Everything is fine till now.

Now I want to integrate these cubes and Enterprise powerplay to our companies web server which is on an another machine.

Can anyone let me know how we integrate the Enterprise Powerplay with the IIS web server on another nachine.

I am sure that you have to install Enterprise Powerplay on the same server as IIS.

We integrate our Cognos Enterprise services two ways:

1) There is a link directly from our internal corporate site to our cognos server (

http://ourservername/cognos).

2) We create a supporting site on the IIS server that hosts cognos enterprise. This site contains training materials, news, metadata reports, etc. and links to the cognos services. The supporting site is also linked from the corporate site.

As far as link reports directly from the corporate site, you can use the bookmark function in PPES to get URLs that go directly to a set report and you can copy IWR links in some cases.
