here on 1.6.2.4 – LQL - Method 4
it's mentioned that LQL query like Attr_338223_2:"JRS62-99" will return all documents that have the Category 338223 (Test Category) applied with Attribute 2 (Trial Name) equal to "JRS62-99".

what is the complete query form for this? i mean if i want to get all docs (IDs) of docs that has category 338223 with attr 2 which equal to "JRS62-99".

From your question it looks like you do not know how to run Livelink search. The best thing in your disposal in the web gui and advanced search
When you run search from livelink the RH turns to ?func=search and other parameters which is documented in its programming api. That has examples of what you are looking for

Here is a tek tips link

Most livelink questions is covered in the online help istsef. So to look for search what I do is I would go to Advanced saerch and hit the link that says 'For this page' form the help or ?icon.

another lesser known way is basically using the GUI to construct your category based search. Then turn up wantsearchlogs=true in your opentext.ini and issue the search. In that case if the query runs you will see what the query is issuing underneath the covers. With some work you are able to understand it and use it for programming and other things.

Hope this info is useful

Well, if I called the wrong number, why did you answer the phone?
