Hey.

I'm fairly new to access and playing about with it. I have a problem. I need to run a query to display the sold items in the stock system. The problem is that the sold field is a tick box. This is due to it being in a form where the stock controllers click the box to say its sold.

I want to have a form that runs a query, where it displays the unsold items. How do I write this into the query?

Thanks in advance, Steve Hewitt

Steve,

What you need to have your querie look for is minus one (-1). A tick box is either 0 or -1 ie. false or true.

Hope this helps

To keep it even simpler for items that are ticked type YES and for those that aren't ticked type NO

Actually, I would suggest to use 0 Or Is Null as criteria for NO.

When you have not checked a check box, the contents of the table will be NULL.

If someone checks a check box and then unchecks it, the contents will be 0.
