Hi everyone. New guy here. I work at a corporation where I have access to several other MS Outlook accounts other than the one assigned to my name.
In one of these accounts, the Contacts folder is set up so that the Contact is set up as the name of an IT system. Each Contact is a Distribution list containing the persons interested in that particular IT system. For each Distribution List (Contact), there is a Members tab and a Notes tab. The Members tab contains the standard Outlook contact info about each list member (General, Organization, Phone, Notes, etc.) The Notes tab is just a text page where we can enter additional info.
QUESTION: How can I search the overall CONTACTS page for the individual members contained within the various Distribution lists? Neither the Members nor the Notes tabs seem to be searched no matter which configuration I choose. When I need to add or delete a member, I have to double click each distribution list to see if the member is in there. This is burdensome, as there are over 100 individual distribution lists.
Does anybody know of a quick way to perform this search? I'm using Outlook 2000 SP-3. Thanks. bp
