How to search and replace text in an entire file

How do I write a modual that will search for text then replace it?

(I want it to search the entire file.)

You can create a macro that will do this. Just go to Macros>Record Macro. Once the macro is running, go to Edit>Replace and type in the criteria you want to search and what will replace it.
