Ok, this is probably an easy question but I cannot find anything anywhere that will help me. I am trying to automate our ZenWorks imaging even more, and wanted the ability to install specific zenapps after the windows image was put down.

Is there a tool or a novell program that will take a ZenApp as a parameter and install it to the workstation? AppAssoc may work in a real hackish way, but I would rather "run" the ZenApp directly from a script just like the user clicked on it from the ZenWorks application window.

Have you looked at the image options of the application object?

In the Common tab I think, the one with the macros, drive mappings, uninstall info.

It will take apps that are snap shot images and place them down on the PC. Any registry stuff will get inserted on first boot. Works with MSI as well, but remember, the .MSI holds the info, so when you create the image file, it will package everything int he msi directory. So clean it up first of unused files to actually install and MSI app.
