It looks like it should be simple to schedule the Trunk Analyzer task in ASA 3.1.13, but I'm not having any luck. I scheduled it to run once a day. The scroll at the bottom of the window said the command failed because an automatic login connection is required. I changed ASA to log in automatically, but then the error message said "No ports available." Then I tried checking the box to "run now." That seems to have overwritten the "no ports available" message with:
"Repeated task 'Trunk Analyzer' shows no record of execution at its last scheduled time."
There doesn't appear to be any documentation that tells how to get this working. Following tips on this forum, I've tried leaving ASA running with the terminal emulator window closed. Still no luck. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks.
