Is there a way in Windows 2003 to automatically schedule a file copy from one server to another?

I have an SQL backup file on one server that I need to copy to another server. This is a daily routine and the problem is that the name of the sql backup file will change everyday. Is there a script that can handle this copy for me and also compensate for the name change? Maybe copy the last modified file in a particular folder?

A script should work, but it's almost impossible to tell you how to write it without knowing the file name format.

you could use a batch file to xcopy all files where the modification was made on the system date.

Or schedule robocopy with the /A switch to only copy files with the archive attribute set.

Depends if your backup job clears it before you do the copy.
