Hi

I recently received a flash project. Basically, is a .fla file.
The size of the document is 1024 x 768 pixels.
I open it with Adobe Flash CS3 Processional, but i'm a beginner with flash projects.

The problem with this document is its size. Some good computers would "hang" when playing the resulting .swf file.
I thought that changing it's size would make it better. So, I changed the size to 600 x 480 pixels, expecting that all objects will be scaled down proportionally to fit the new size. Boy, I was wrong. It just clipped my original document and no scalling was invoked.

Is there a way to achieve this?
Please if anyone can help, it's an urgent situation.
Thanks in advance.

The easiest might be to leave it at that size, but to scale it down in the .html's width & height parameters, starting at 50% and maybe adjust it to your satisfaction afterwards...

Thing is, scaling down other stuff than vector stuff like pictures and text, might have adverse effects... Really depends on your content...

Alternately, you can resize the stage and re-scale all content, using the following...

But again, pictures & text, could appear distorted or pixelated...
