Hi,

I have two prompts in my report one is date prompt and another is department prompt.

now for example, I want to reportnet to execute department query first, then whatever data it gets, it should execute date query on that.. I believe, report performance to be better this way.. if I have department index and few department records?

how to tell reportnet to do this?

Ravina,
If both prompts are based on the same underlying data, why have two queries? Use a single query for both prompts. If you need to sort them differently or something like that, use a single tabular set with a tabular set reference in the second query.

Ravina,

Also try using Cascade source for the second prompt
