How to save the current OS from a Procurve 4000M

I was reading the manual for my switch and using the HP Procurve site when I noticed that my current OS level is a bit off. In reading the release notes, HP suugests saving the current copy of your OS in case the flash upgrade is not stable. Ok, but how does one do that? The "Download the OS" function is only for uploading the newest OS, not getting the current image.

Would some one direct me to the currect procedure?
