How to save the body of the email text to a table

Behind the scenes we track every change (add, edit, delete) the users make in a transaction table. They want us to track the emails too...I know they could save the outlook file etc...but they want to save it in the database. Now, the question is...how can I save the body of the email to my transaction table. Any good ideas.
