How to save OWA password in IE?

I have a handicapped user who has difficulty using a keyboard, and so he saves his passwords in IE. Suddenly, IE 7 won't save his OWA username and/or password. Checked the autocomplete settings; they are correct. Our OWA is a secure site. Passwords WILL save for other https sites. I have made no recent changes to Exchange.
Any ideas?
