My parent's computer got 2 virii that I am aware of, 1 being nimda, and the other W95.spaces. Anyways, I've saved what I can, with zipdrive, and now I want to save the drivers that are being used, like the monitor, and mouse, etc. Is there a way I can do that? I'd reaaaalllllyyyy appreciate it if someone helped me out. :)
thanks

All drivers are within the c:\windows\inf folder and sub folders, as well as c:\windows\system and sub folders.
Some things may NOT work after a format/reinstall, even with these files saved, you just have to dig out the original install CD. Cheers,

Also just to be safe before you format, if you can get to device manager its allways smart to write down what the computer says you have for Video card, modem, sound ect.... That way if you miss a driver or it just wont work you know what drivers to look for on the internet. If you dont keep track and you dont have a certain driver you can allways open the case and try to determine what you got, but this somtimes can be difficult depending on the manufacter.
