How to save and restore only Calendar and Contacts?

Using an HP iPaq h2200 2003 device I want to transfer only my Calendar and Contacts to a new device.

Can anyone tell me where these tables are at, and how to save them and restore them to a new device?

I don't know how to do it directly, but I would try doing it via synchronisation with a desktop machine. Sync your existing device's Calendar & Contacts to a PC running ActiveSync and Outlook, then disconnect it and sync your new device to the same PC. ActiveSync lets you choose which things get sync'ed - emails, contacts etc.

My HP iPaq Pocket PC comes with Outlook. I installed it, allowed it to sync up Calendar, Contacts, and Notes.

I then copied my sync directory (My Documents) and used ActiveSync, without the Pocket PC connected, and deleted the Parnership and sync directory.

I reimaged my ROM and gave the device the same Partnership name. When I synced up again, all my Contacts, etc. were restored.

The other thing I would encourage others to do is to back up the pocket pc before installing any software. Some of it will screw up the machine. To restore the the previous backup you have to connect up as Guest.
