How to safely shut down Definity Prologix 1

I need to install Backup-UPS for my Definity Prologix v9, in order to do that I have to shutdown the switch. Does anyone know safe procedure to power down the switch.

Save trans/ save announcements and unplug!!Some recommend pulling out power supplies but I think that can do more harm than good, just do "lis his" and make sure announcements and tranlations show a successful backup.
