Currently, we still use CE 9 Standard on our Windows 2000 server as it allows us to publish our reports to users very easily. I have a basic asp page setup which has folders/subfolders with links to the rpt files on our server. The user simply clicks on the report they want, the active x wizard opens and prompts them for the parameters and prints.
We have to upgrade to Windows 2003 server, which installs IIS 6 and I understand that we will then lose the ability to publish our reports this way. Is this 100% true?
We love what we have now and everything works fine, so we don't want to have to change. Are there any recommendations for trying to keep what we have a newer versions without spending thousands of dollars, which we don't have any budget for?
