How to run ufs logging manually after BCV split

I am using Veritas Vol. Manager but UFS filesystem for my Symm. UFS logging is enabled. After BCV split , it takes a lot of time running fsck before I am able to mount BCV on tapeserver for backup. UFS logging is enable but doesnot work after split because it is not a crash condition.
Please suggest If any workaround to replay UFS logging to save time in fsck.
