How to run SDM with Win7

Hi there

After a lot of time with testing and troubleshooting SDM with Win 7 pro, it finally works with SDM 2.5.
IPS may not work with other versions. This works on Cisco 1812w IOS c181x-adventerprisek9-mz.151-2.T2.

1.Uninstall all old versions of Java

2.Download Java 1.6.0.11 from
3.In control panel type Java. Open Java\view and type -Xmx512m in Java runtime settings. This ensures enough memory in Java heap size.

HTTP tested as login method.
