I've got RedHat 7.0 installed, and I'm trying to re-compile my kernel and X and some other stuff optimized for a PII mmx processor. I d/l'd pgcc, which is a pentium-optimized port of gcc, but it's all in elf format. I get a segfault every time I try to run the compiler. Is there something special to do since they're elf binaries?
I don't think I'm missing libraries, b/c I'm getting a segfault and no other error. All of my development has been done using the a.out format, not elf. Any suggestions?
MWB. As always, I hope that helped!
