How to run a script on CD insertion

Hey all,

Well, basically the subject is the question - is it possible to automatically run a script when a CD is inserted ?

There is a package that allows this, go to:

http://www.rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/

and type "autorun" in the search box.

I always hated this feature, and kept it disabled in Windows...
