How to run a command within a script as a different user

I need to run a program within a script....

I need to run volrpt as user "acsss"...

The script will be run by root...

Thanks....
 
Thats what I thought as well.....

But the following just laughs at me!

su - acsss -c "/export/home/ACSSS/bin/volrpt
 
I don't think he got an error message. It just laughed at him.
