How to roll the dlt tape to last session?

Dear all
Did anyone know how to roll or forward the dlt tape to the last session instead providing the session number to it.

Try:

mt -f /dev/rmt0 fsf 10

This will move the tape ahead 10 files.Assuming you know the number of files on your tape ....
