How to return mutlirows recordset to Crystal Report 7

I am using Crystal Reports 7 to build reports for Oracle 8.<br>
<br>
Usually, my reports call views from Oracle. But for some reports, I need to calculate data as the data is gathered. <br>
<br>
So my question is the following:<br>

Is there a way to return multirows resultset to Crystal Reports (or any 3rd party software)?<br>
<br>
I heard that reference cursor could do it but I am at lost?<br>
An example would be surely appreciated. <br>

I would use Stored Procs. <br>
